Me Simon Frenette focuses his works in municipal law exclusively for municipalities, Transit Authorities and various public bodies, in the fields of expropriation, property assessment, municipal taxation and land use and zoning regulations.

He regularly pleads before the Administrative Tribunal of Quebec in property assessment disputes for various properties such as industrial buildings, shopping centers or real estate developments. In expropriation, he represents expropriating bodies for the determination of provisional and final indemnities, in the matter of contestations of the right to expropriate or for the imposition of reserves for public purposes. He also pleads before civil courts, both at the trial and in appeal, to ensure compliance with municipal bylaws or to ensure their validity.

Me Frenette provides legal advice on specific subjects and provides support and planning for municipal projects for the financing and preparation of urban planning regulations.
