Me Paul Wayland has dedicated his career entirely to municipal law and more specifically to municipal taxation, property assessment and expropriation.

Me Wayland also specializes in economic development and in crisis management, notably by his work for the Ville de Lac-Mégantic from the outset of the rail catastrophe of July 6, 2013.

Since the start of his practice with the legal department of the Communauté urbaine de Québec, Me Wayland has exclusively represented the interests of numerous municipalities.

He acts at all stages of the contestation process in matters of assessment and expropriation, before the Tribunal administratif du Québec, the appellate courts and the courts of common law. His expertise covers all property categories: industrial, commercial, institutional, hotels and residential.

Me Wayland is listed among the advisors in municipal ethics and deontology established by the Commission municipale du Québec.
